When we consider the food we eat, you’d be hard pressed to find something that isn’t completely processed and filled with preservatives and chemicals. This is because most food today is produced and shipped very long distances, so it must be kept fresh as long as possible. Unfortunately, that doesn’t make it very healthy for the end user.
Adding these two factors together, you get a world where it is all too easy to become overweight without much knowledge. Only when you make a conscious choice to keep yourself healthy and thin, do you stand a fighting chance. The bottom line is that you need more exercise, and less processed food.
Of course, this doesn’t mean giving up everything except oatmeal, and spending hours on the treadmill every night. All it means is to cut down just a little bit on the junk food, and add in just a little bit of extra physical activity. The goal is long term health, and weight loss
