Ways to Cure Bad Breath When Nothing Else Will Work
There exists a dangerous lie circulating in society regarding bad breath, and it is causing a great deal of frustration for those who suffer from bad breath. That myth is that brushing and flossing should be all you need to be free of bad breath, and if you have bad breath, you are an unclean person who does not brush their teeth. If you suffer from truly chronic bad breath, then you probably have a hunch that this is not the case at all. Chalk me up as one of those bad breath sufferers who knows the truth (the hard way).
If you’re even reading this article, you probably already know this. You can relax, because in this article I’m going to tell you about a cure for bad breath that you’re going to want to get your hands on.
The funny thing about bad breath is it is a condition that you can sort of “feel” that you have, even though most adults are too kind to tell you just how bad your breath really is. You can still tend to tell that others can sense it too though when you judge their reactions to you. Bad breath is a serious problem that has harsh effects on one’s social life.
So, what leads to this lack of information about how to truly cure bad breath? I put the blame squarely on those who are supposed to help us, our dentists. All they tend to do is give the same old rehashed advice; make sure you are brushing after every meal, flossing at night time, and using mouthwash every now and then. Still have a problem? Buy some mints. Not only does this not work, it causes an embarrassing situation when people think that the only reason you have bad breath is that you are dirty or don’t brush your teeth.
Remember what I said about how I have personally suffered from chronic bad breath for years? Well, I’ll be the first to testify that for me, brushing and flossing were a futile way to attack my halitosis. I did my own research, and what I found was the the true cause of bad breath is a certain sulfur producing bacteria that very much enjoys living in your mouth.
Sulfur stinks. I don’t mean to be crude, but there’s no better way to put it. Unfortunately, you were simply born with a certain geographic layout and temperature in your mouth which allows this sulfur creating bacteria to thrive.
But if brushing and flossing does not work, then what will? That’s a valid question, because brushing and flossing is pretty much all that we’re really taught how to do when it comes to taking care of our mouths. The key to fresh breath is to bring the climate in your mouth closer to those who do not have to worry about their breath. Your goal is to create a pH balanced environment where these sulfur producing bacteria cannot thrive.
All of us chronic bad breath sufferers wish we could just throw on our clothes, lazily brush our teeth like everyone else, and then merrily go on our way, flossing when necessary. Unfortunately, that’s not the way life worked out for us. Instead of trying the same things that work for others, it is time to start trying things that work for you.
