You might have trouble deciding between these two products. If you do, do not worry, as you are not the only one. This article will help you decide which to use.

The Pro Effects Whitestrips:

In 2005, the Crest Whitestrips Pro Effects product was available on the market for the first time. However, if you looked for them, you would not find them. This is because they were not called Crest Whitestrips Pro Effects; they were called Crest Whitestrips Premium Plus. Crest had a package at the time, the Premium package, which contained a seven-day supply of Whitestrips. The company decided that some users may want more than a seven-day supply, so they released their Premium Plus package.

The Premium Plus package was the same thing as the Premium package in all respects, except that it came with a ten day supply rather than a seven. Obviously, a ten day supply will do more for your teeth than a seven will. The strips still contained ten percent hydrogen peroxide, and they were still made out of the same material; the strips were identical.

Crest decided at some point that the name “Premium Plus” would be better changed to “Pro Effects.” So, they changed the name. Besides the name and packaging, Premium Plus and Pro Effects are exactly the same thing.

The Advanced Seal package:

Crest heard the complaints of many users, so they created the Advanced Seal package. It used to be that Whitestrips users had a hard time keeping the strips on their teeth. Obviously, strips falling off the teeth will not whiten the teeth very well. Bleach will be spilled on the gums, or it will get swallowed by the user; bleach burns any tissue it touches.

Somebody might use the Daily Whitening Multicare box, the Daily Whitening Multicare with Tartar Control box, the Classic box, the Premium box, the Professional box, the Renewal box, or the Supreme box, but that somebody will still experience the same problem; this problem was known to all the Whitestrips products.

So, Crest decided to end this problem. They came out with the Crest Whitestrips Advanced Seal, their newest product. These Whitestrips stay put on your teeth; they are the only ones. Sometimes, they stay put so well that they’re hard to get off!

Because the strips slid off the teeth so easily, you found yourself with another problem: you could not do much. It prevented you from eating, smoking, drinking, and a number of other things. You would not want to move your mouth too much. However, the Advanced Seal Whitestrips solved that. You can do all of those things while they are on your teeth!

For all practical purposes, the Advanced Seal Whitestrips are the same thing as the Pro Effects; they both contain ten percent hydrogen peroxide, and they both contain a ten day supply.

If you exclude the name and the packaging, there is only one difference between the Advanced Seal and the Pro Effects Whitestrips. The Advanced Seal strips will stay on your teeth, and the Pro Effects will probably slide off. Remember, this makes them less debilitating, too, as you can do things while you have them on your teeth.

The newer Advanced Seal product is the better product. It is recommended over the Pro Effects under any circumstance. The only reason one might want to buy the Pro Effects is if he or she finds them at a significantly cheaper price than he or she can find the Advanced Seal for. Otherwise, go with the Advanced Seal Whitestrips.
